Post Silicon Validation Engineer 3

Our client, a leader in advanced silicon solutions for gaming platforms, is seeking a Validation Engineer 3 to join their team. As a Validation Engineer 3, you will be part of the Power and Performance Validation team supporting silicon validation and optimization efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, adaptability, and collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Validation Engineer 3

Location: Austin, TX. ONSITE

Duration: 12 Months contract

What's the Job?

• Develop test plans in collaboration with architecture, firmware, and engineering teams to ensure products meet or exceed performance and power targets.
• Execute power and performance studies to support product validation and business development initiatives.
• Validate and tune silicon features post-production to optimize performance and efficiency.
• Set up, debug, and analyze systems under test to identify and resolve issues effectively.
• Collaborate across teams to support current and future silicon products, ensuring alignment with technical specifications.

What's Needed?

• Experience validating power or performance features of CPUs, GPUs, or APUs.
• Familiarity with graphics, core, and gaming-focused workloads.
• Knowledge of data acquisition and thermal measurement equipment.
• Experience analyzing and presenting data using tools like Power BI, Sigma, or similar.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience, preferably in post-silicon validation environments.
