Senior ServiceNow ITOM Discovery Administrator

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and IT services sector, is seeking a Senior ServiceNow ITOM Discovery Administrator to join their team. As a Senior ServiceNow ITOM Discovery Administrator, you will be part of the IT Operations team supporting the organization’s infrastructure and service management initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location:Remote (US-based)

What's the Job?

• Design, configure, and maintain ServiceNow ITOM Discovery modules to ensure accurate infrastructure and application discovery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client needs and provide expert guidance on ITOM Discovery best practices.
• Maintain and enhance service mapping, discovery patterns, probes, and sensors to support continuous improvement and data accuracy.
• Monitor and troubleshoot discovery-related issues, resolving them promptly to minimize operational disruptions.
• Work closely with development teams to implement custom solutions and enhancements as needed.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• ServiceNow Certification for System Administrator is mandatory.
• Experience configuring and administering ServiceNow ITOM Discovery modules and Service Mapping.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, network protocols, and application architectures.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Perl, and PowerShell.
