Thermal Validation Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the telecommunications and electromechanical products industry, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Thermal Validation Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Thermal Validation Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Testing and Validation Department supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will enable you to thrive within the organization.

Location:San Jose, CA

What's the Job?

• Set up prototypes for thermal and acoustic testing, including thermocouple installation and wind tunnel operations
• Conduct laboratory testing on electro-mechanical and telecom products to validate thermal performance
• Analyze test data and prepare detailed reports to support product development and validation processes
• Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve thermal-related issues
• Ensure testing procedures comply with industry standards such as GR and NEBS

What's Needed?

• Laboratory testing experience with electro-mechanical and telecom products
• Experience working as a Thermal Validation Engineer for electromechanical products
• Experience setting up prototypes for thermal and acoustic testing, including thermocouple installation and wind tunnel operations
• Knowledge of telecom test standards such as GR and NEBS (desired)
• Hardware engineering background with strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft tools for reporting
