Our client, a leader in the biotech industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting the development, compliance, and continuous improvement of products related to Genetic Science and Next Generation Sequencing applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to quality management, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist
Location: South San Francisco, CA (100% onsite)
Pay Range:$32-34/hr
What's the Job?
- Provide quality oversight for processes and projects, ensuring compliance with current regulations and standards.
- Perform internal audits, compliance assessments, and quality reviews of documentation, procedures, and processes.
- Lead product transfer activities, evaluate non-conformances, investigate customer complaints, and develop CAPAs.
- Support the integration of AI within Quality processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Participate in rapid response processes, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Science field or related discipline.
- Minimum of 2+ years of Quality Assurance experience in biotech or related industries.
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 requirements and internal audit experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities.
