Software Development Engineer in Test

Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a QA Engineering professional to join their dynamic team. As a QA Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting innovative projects and collaborative teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?

• Design, test, and maintain automated tests for various services and applications.
• Lead efforts in drafting test scenarios and writing tests to cover functional use cases for each feature.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to triage bugs and investigate failures across different environments.
• Monitor and maintain test pipelines, utilizing observability tools and logs to identify and resolve issues.
• Clearly communicate bugs and proactively initiate discussions to facilitate issue discovery and resolution.

What's Needed?

• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript, with experience using test runners such as Mocha.
• Hands-on experience with UI test automation frameworks, including Playwright.
• Experience testing MQTT or similar Pub/Sub interfaces (e.g., WebSockets, SSE).
• Experience testing GraphQL APIs, including writing and maintaining complex queries.
• Knowledge of cloud environments, containerized deployments (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines.
