IT Software Engineer

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and industrial solutions, is seeking an IT Software Engineer to join their team. As an IT Software Engineer, you will be part of the IT Innovation Center North supporting manufacturing propulsion systems, software interfaces, production lines, and product quality management.  

Job Title: IT Software Engineer

Location: Austin, TX

Pay Range: $66 per hour on W2
 

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and implement business and computer applications software, including mainframe and client/server applications
• Fine-tune and improve sophisticated software implementation projects
• Gather and analyze system requirements, document specifications, and develop tailored software solutions
• Implement system software and customize it to meet client needs
• Create detailed software specifications, test plans, and perform unit testing of developed programs

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field
• 5-7 years of experience in software development and system troubleshooting
• Proficiency in full stack development with at least 3-4 years’ experience (front end, back end, and database)
• Experience with AI coding skills and containerization technologies
• Strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design, with experience in large systems software development
