IT Business Analyst

Our client, a leading financial services organization specializing in Capital Markets, is seeking a dedicated IT Business Analyst to join their dynamic team. As an IT Business Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Front Office support team, working closely with traders, sales, operations, and technology professionals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent stakeholder management, and effective communication abilities, which will enable you to thrive in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Job Title: IT Business Analyst

Location: Charlotte, NC - Hybrid Role

Pay Range: $55 to $60 on W2

What's the Job?

• Support FICC trading businesses by analyzing and documenting complex business requirements related to derivatives, interest rate swaps, FX, and fixed income products.
• Partner with traders, sales, operations, and technology teams to elicit, analyze, and translate business needs into clear Jira epics and user stories.
• Drive the delivery of solutions within an Agile framework, ensuring alignment with strategic trading and operational objectives.
• Work hands-on with pricing and valuation platforms, trade lifecycle management, and market data integration to optimize front-office workflows.
• Bridge communication between business and technology teams to facilitate seamless project execution and continuous improvement.

What's Needed?

• Business Analysis experience within Capital Markets, with a focus on Front Office environments.
• Deep knowledge of FICC products, including interest rate swaps, cross-currency swaps, FX derivatives, fixed income securities, repos, and OTC derivatives.
• Strong understanding of trade capture, pricing, valuation, risk, and trade lifecycle processes.
• Experience working with front-office trading platforms, pricing engines, and valuation tools.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into Jira epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
