Quality Specialist II

Our client, a leader in the bioprocessing and automation industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Specialist II to join their team. As a Quality Specialist II, you will be an integral part of the Supplier Quality team supporting quality acceptance activities for critical equipment and components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will enable them to thrive within a collaborative and innovative environment.

Pay Range:$35.00

What's the Job?

• Perform supplier quality acceptance activities at supplier sites and/or receiving locations, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and purchase requirements.
• Inspect mechanical and electrical components, assemblies, and hardware, including stainless-steel vessels, electrical enclosures, wiring, welds, and surface finishes.
• Operate inspection and measurement equipment to verify product dimensions, surface quality, weld integrity, and electrical connections.
• Review supplier documentation, inspection records, certificates, and test reports to confirm conformance and maintain accurate records.
• Identify nonconforming conditions, support supplier corrective actions, and escalate significant issues to management for resolution.

What's Needed?

• At least three (3) years of experience in supplier quality, quality inspection, incoming inspection, or related roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of inspection procedures, acceptance criteria, and nonconformance processes.
• Experience working directly with suppliers or fabricators to verify product conformance and communicate nonconformances.
• Familiarity with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, profilometers, and optical measurement devices.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality documentation accurately.
