Remote Proctoring Operations Contractor

Our client, an organization dedicated to advancing educational excellence, is seeking a Remote Proctoring Operations Contractor to join their team. As a Remote Proctoring Operations Contractor, you will be part of the Support Services Department supporting Student Support and Testing Operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, sound judgment, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Remote Proctoring Operations Contractor (Part-Time)

What's the Job?

• Monitor and manage incoming remote proctoring support tickets submitted by students, ensuring timely review and response.
• Review ticket documentation for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with institutional testing policies such as scheduling, system readiness, and identity verification.
• Escalate valid technical issues to internal teams or external vendors for further investigation and resolution.
• Verify and understand minimum technology requirements for remote proctoring sessions, including system checks and device compatibility.
• Ability to recognize common technical issues (e.g., unsupported devices, connectivity loss, system check failures) without performing hands-on IT troubleshooting.
• Review recorded proctoring exam sessions to verify testing conditions, student behavior, and proctor actions, especially when incidents or appeals are reported.

What's Needed?

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field.
• Prior experience reviewing student support tickets, incident reports, or case documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Experience interpreting and applying institutional policies, technical requirements, or review criteria objectively.
• Demonstrated experience working with confidential student records, exam-related documentation, or sensitive case information in accordance with privacy expectations.
• Familiarity with remote proctoring tools, learning management systems, testing platforms, or ticketing systems (preferred).
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise summaries for various stakeholders.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience summarizing findings for internal stakeholders, including faculty, academic leaders, student support teams, or operational leadership.
