Our client is seeking a Telecommunications Analyst to join their team. As a Telecommunications Analyst, you will be part of the Information Management Services Division supporting the County's enterprise communication systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Milwaukee, WI (Hybrid)
What's the Job?
- Analyze existing Avaya communication systems and translate requirements into administration, installation, and configuration for system upgrades and migrations.
- Design, configure, and support enterprise VOIP, video, and teleconference solutions, including Microsoft Teams Voice and related call-flow applications.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the VOIP/Teleconference system ensuring optimal service quality and system stability.
- Lead incident management processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to maintain system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to deploy, enhance, and support the County’s communication infrastructure.
What's Needed?
- 3-5 years of experience in enterprise voice and unified communications platforms, particularly with Avaya systems.
- Demonstrated experience with SIP trunking, SBCs, dial plans, call routing, and E911 administration.
- Knowledge of contact center and IVR design, implementation, and support.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies such as Microsoft Teams Voice.
- Certifications such as Avaya Certified Integration Specialist (ACIS), Avaya Implementation Professional Specialist (AIPS), or similar are preferred.
