ENG Technician I

Our client, an advanced manufacturing and aerospace-focused organization, is seeking an ENG Technician I to join their team. As an ENG Technician I, you will be part of the Quality/Engineering support group, supporting cross-functional teams that help ensure products meet required specifications. The ideal candidate will bring a strong commitment to quality, a safety-first mindset, and the drive to learn and improve processes—skills that will align successfully in the organization.

Location:Clarkston, GA

Pay Range: $25 - $29/hr

What's the Job?

• Perform dimensional, visual, and functional inspections on incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products using appropriate measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, gauges, etc.).
• Support Quality Engineers in First Article Inspections (FAI) and process validations.
• Collect and analyze quality data, prepare reports, and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with ISO 9001/AS9100 (as applicable).
• Conduct gage R&R studies and capability studies (Cp, Cpk), and support measurement system analysis.
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action implementation for internal and external nonconformances.

What's Needed?

• Hands-on experience performing inspections and using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, CMM, and gauges.
• Ability to support documentation and reporting requirements aligned to ISO 9001/AS9100 (as applicable).
• Familiarity with gage R&R and capability studies (Cp, Cpk) and measurement system analysis concepts.
• Experience supporting MRB (Material Review Board) activities and maintaining control of nonconforming materials.
• Comfort working cross-functionally and following safe work practices while complying with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
