Our client is seeking a Telecommunications Technician to join their team. As a Telecommunications Technician, you will be part of the IT Support Department supporting the Telecommunications Operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Provide support for enterprise voice and unified communications systems, including troubleshooting and incident response.
  • Manage phone number inventory, lifecycle, and user provisioning across multiple UC platforms.
  • Coordinate with vendors and carriers to ensure telecom services operate smoothly and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records for E911 administration and telecom records management.
  • Assist users through training and support to enhance system adoption and usability.

What's Needed?

  • 3-5 years of experience as an enterprise voice and unified communications technician or analyst.
  • Experience with moves, adds, changes, and user provisioning across UC platforms.
  • Knowledge of telecom expense management, carrier coordination, and E911 records management.
  • Ability to learn new technologies, especially Microsoft Teams Voice.
  • Strong communication skills, including reading, writing, and explaining technical information clearly.
