Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing and logistics, is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to join their team. As an Inventory Control Associate, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the production and inventory management teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Inventory Control Associate
Location: Valencia, CA
Pay Range: $16.50/hr
What's the Job?
- Examine documents, materials, and products to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Review production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and material requirements.
- Record production data, including volume, raw material consumption, and quality control measures.
- Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies to meet production demands.
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within departments according to the production schedule.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze costs related to manufacturing, labor, and materials.
- Previous experience with computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
