Mainframe DevOps Migration Consultant

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and mainframe modernization sector, is seeking a Mainframe DevOps Migration Consultant to join their team. As a Mainframe DevOps Migration Consultant, you will be part of the Application Modernization Department supporting client migration projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Lead and support SCM (CA-Endevor) to DBB/GIT/IDD migration projects, guiding clients through complex modernization processes.
• Articulate a strategic vision for modernizing IBM's Git/DBB solutions with clear business benefits.
• Architect DevOps pipelines utilizing Git, IBM DBB, and automated deployment tools to streamline mainframe development workflows.
• Assess existing legacy SCM workflows and design effective migration strategies to Git integrated with IBM DBB.
• Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of DBB/GIT/IDD on customer systems, ensuring seamless integration and operation.

What's Needed?

• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts.
• Extensive experience with application development or system programming on IBM z/OS and USS platforms.
• Proven experience in installation, configuration, and migration of IBM DBB, GIT, and IDD solutions.
• Hands-on troubleshooting skills related to Git, DBB, IDD, and Wazi deployment environments.
• Ability to conduct technical training sessions and develop presentation materials for client education.
