Backend Developer Level 3

Our client, a leading technology-driven organization in the retail industry, is seeking a Backend Developer Level 3 to join their dynamic team. As a Backend Developer Level 3, you will be part of the Software Development Department supporting the engineering teams responsible for building scalable and resilient backend systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale distributed backend systems that support retail fulfillment platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Implement resilient cloud-native services utilizing technologies such as Node.js, TypeScript, and Microsoft Azure.
• Operate and troubleshoot asynchronous, message-based systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices, CI/CD pipelines, and system observability.

What's Needed?

• 6+ years of professional experience in software engineering, focusing on backend application development.
• Recent hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript in production environments.
• Proficiency in designing and operating large-scale distributed systems and microservice architectures.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API development and NoSQL databases such as Cosmos DB.
• Experience with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure.
