Our client, a leader in the technology industry, is seeking a Thermal Testing Engineer to join their team. As a Thermal Testing Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting product development and testing initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: San Jose, CA

What's the Job?

  • Conduct thermal testing and temperature measurements on various systems and components.
  • Assist in system assembly, setup, and troubleshooting during laboratory experiments.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret thermal data to support product validation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve thermal performance and reliability.
  • Document testing procedures, results, and recommendations for continuous improvement.

What's Needed?

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 2+ years of relevant industry experience or equivalent practical experience.
  • Hands-on experience in thermal testing, temperature measurement, and data collection.
  • Laboratory experience in system assembly, setup, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of liquid-cooling test setup and validation (desired).
  • Understanding of mechanical material properties, especially metals, thermal interface materials, and EMI gasket materials (desired).
