Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Frontend Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Frontend Engineer, you will be part of the Web Engineering department supporting innovative digital solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a passion for creating high-quality user experiences, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Frontend Engineer

Location: New York, New York

Pay Range: $65-70/hr

What's the Job?

  • Contribute to an agile team by analyzing user stories, grooming features, and developing comprehensive solutions.
  • Ensure optimal application usability through meticulous manual testing and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with product, development, and backend teams to plan, test, and deploy high-quality features.
  • Assist in estimating project feasibility and effort for new features.
  • Follow and promote consistent development standards and best practices across the team.

What's Needed?

  • 4-8 years of experience in a software development environment with a relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React.js, with experience in building responsive, adaptive UI applications.
  • Knowledge of modern web fundamentals, including DOM, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Cypress, Jest, or React Testing Library.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Docker, and experience working within Agile (SCRUM) methodologies.
