SOC Analyst

Our client is seeking a SOC Analyst to join their team. As a SOC Analyst, you will be part of the Security Operations Center supporting cybersecurity and incident response teams. The ideal candidate will have analytical thinking, attention to detail, and strong communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:SOC Analyst

Location: REMOTE (East Coast preferred)

Pay Range:$35
Rotating schedule - must be able to work nights and weekends 

What's the Job?

• Monitor security alerts and triage incidents to ensure swift response
• Manage incident tickets and case documentation accurately
• Investigate security incidents to determine scope and impact
• Escalate security issues following established procedures
• Utilize endpoint security tools such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, and Nozomi

What's Needed?

• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in security operations or related field
• Knowledge of incident response lifecycle and SOC processes
• Experience with security alert classification and evidence collection
• Familiarity with endpoint security tools and incident management systems
• Understanding of IT/OT environments and collaboration during security incidents (nice-to-have)
