Test Technician 2_USD

Our client, a leading technology organization specializing in storage solutions and hardware development, is seeking a Jr Test Technician to join their team. As a Jr Test Technician, you will be part of the Hardware Support Department supporting SSD hardware bring-up, firmware validation readiness, and lab operations. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a detail-oriented approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Jr Test Technician

Location:Longmont, Colorado

Pay Range: $35/hr - $38/hr+

What's the Job?

• Support SSD hardware bring-up, firmware validation, and lab operations within the US FPT lab team
• Ensure test systems are properly configured, hardware is available and tracked, and issues are resolved promptly
• Maintain and organize lab infrastructure, including equipment handling, rack building, and system installation
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory management activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support hardware validation programs and improve lab processes

What's Needed?

• Hands-on experience with PC and server hardware assembly, setup, and bring-up
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware and lab environments
• Familiarity with SSD technologies and storage systems (preferred but not required)
• Working knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Ability to perform repetitive hardware setup and validation tasks efficiently
