We are seeking a Database Engineer  to join our team.

Nice-to-have skills: 1)terraform, AWS DynamoDB, Google Dataproc
Years of experience needed: 7 Years
Responsibilities: As a Database Engineer, you will be responsible for resolving incidents and problems across multiple business system components to ensure operational stability. Your day-to-day activities will include creating and implementing Requests for Change and updating knowledge base articles to support effective troubleshooting. You will collaborate with vendors and assist service management teams with issue analysis and resolution. You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, contribute to key decisions, and provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams. Expert proficiency in PostgreSQL is required. Expert proficiency in Google Cloud SQL is recommended. Expert proficiency in AWS DynamoDB, Google BigQuery, Google Dataproc, and Terraform (Software) is suggested.
Analyze complex technical issues and develop innovative solutions to enhance system reliability and performance. Lead efforts to improve operational processes and implement best practices across support activities. Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives. Provide guidance and support to colleagues to foster knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Monitor emerging technologies and recommend their adoption to maintain a competitive edge.
