Our client, a leading organization in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, is seeking a Procurement Director to join their team. As a Procurement Director, you will be part of the Procurement Department supporting strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Procurement Director
Location: Philadelphia, PA (hybrid)
Pay Range: $80- $89/hr
Duration: 6 months (potential to extend)

What's the Job?

  • Partner with US Business Units and commercial functions to develop procurement strategies
  • Lead sourcing and negotiation initiatives to maximize value and align with organizational goals
  • Collaborate with global procurement teams to optimize purchasing power and ensure local needs are met
  • Manage large-scale, cross-business projects to support market entry and product launches
  • Support digital transformation efforts by promoting AI-driven procurement tools and processes

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of procurement experience
  • Experience in indirect procurement, including marketing, sales, and technology categories
  • Experience working within a major organization and alongside senior leadership
  • Strong contract management skills and familiarity with procurement tools like Fairmarkit
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
