Our client, a leading organization in medical device manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join their team. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be an integral part of the Quality Department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to quality improvement, which will align successfully within the organization.

Contract: 6 Months, potential to extend
Schedule: 1st Shift
What's the Job?
- Perform quality inspection on preproduction materials and finished products accurately and efficiently, ensuring weekly lot requirements are met or exceeded.
- Document nonconformances and support disposition decisions with the Material Review Board (MRB) as needed.
- Review inspection priorities and complete inspections within designated timeframes.
- Communicate quality findings promptly to manufacturing teams, purchasing, and quality leadership both verbally and in writing.
- Maintain, manage, and archive quality inspection records, reports, and metrics to ensure traceability and compliance.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality inspection and manufacturing assembly or a similar role.
- Associate of Science degree or a technology-related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Proficiency with inspection tools such as microscopes, calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring schematics, and work instructions.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Agile PLM, and ERP systems.
