Java Developer

Our client is seeking a Java Developer IV to join their team. As a Java Developer IV, you will be part of the Application Development Department supporting legacy systems and new custom applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Provide development support to new custom applications and legacy systems as a hands-on developer
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions
• Maintain and enhance existing Java-based applications to improve functionality and performance
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Utilize modern development tools and frameworks to streamline the development process

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 4 years of experience with Java development
• At least 3 years of experience with JavaScript
• 2 years of experience working with SQL databases
• Experience with financial systems, including invoicing, billing, or payment systems, is highly preferred
• Knowledge of ReactJS or other SPA JavaScript frameworks is a plus
• Proficiency with Git and Agile development methodologies
• Must be a current Wisconsin resident; no relocation allowed
