Our client, a leading innovator in high-speed electronic and photonic systems, is seeking a Firmware Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Firmware Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting firmware development and system integration. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
- Develop and enhance firmware features for high-speed SerDes and photonic systems
- Debug existing firmware issues and collaborate with hardware teams to resolve firmware/RTL discrepancies
- Work closely with verification teams to support firmware validation and testing
- Support lab and test-chip environments for firmware development and debugging
- Coordinate with offshore teams to ensure seamless project execution and knowledge sharing
What's Needed?
- 8-10 years of experience in firmware development, particularly for high-speed SerDes systems
- Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages
- Experience with low-level firmware development, debugging, and new feature implementation
- Strong lab/debugging skills and familiarity with hardware debugging tools such as JTAG, I2C, and oscilloscopes
- Knowledge of physical layer specifications like PCIe and IEEE 802.3 standards
