Sr IAM Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and financial services sector, is seeking a Sr IAM Engineer to join their team. As a Sr IAM Engineer, you will be part of the Identity & Access Management department supporting cloud security and governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr IAM Engineer

Location: Fully remote, preferred geo-states include Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, Virginia, North Carolina

Pay Range: $65.00/hr

What's the Job?

• Design and implement AWS IAM and AWS Identity Center (AWS SSO) configurations to establish secure access controls
• Configure and troubleshoot SailPoint IdentityNow integrations with AWS and other identity governance solutions
• Develop and manage identity lifecycle workflows, including automated provisioning and deprovisioning processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish scalable and compliant identity management frameworks
• Support the setup of multi-account AWS environments, including landing zones and Service Control Policies (SCPs)

What's Needed?

• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS IAM, AWS Identity Center (AWS SSO), and AWS identity architecture
• Proven expertise in SailPoint IdentityNow configuration, administration, and connector setup
• Strong understanding of identity governance, access management, and cloud security best practices
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a consulting environment to establish a secure AWS identity foundation
• Experience with SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SCIM protocols for federation and federation security
