HR Operations Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a dedicated HR Operations Specialist – Separation Processing to join their team. As an HR Operations Specialist, you will be an essential part of the HR department supporting seamless separation activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee terminations and related HR transactions.

Job Title: HR Operations Specialist – Separation Processing
Location: Tampa, FL (on site)
Pay Range: $32-$34/hr
Duration: 6 months (potential to extend)

What's the Job?

  • Manage employee separation and termination processes with precision and efficiency
  • Prepare and review termination letters and severance documentation
  • Coordinate exit packages and final pay-impacting data changes
  • Collaborate with Payroll, Time & Attendance, and other HR teams to ensure smooth processing
  • Maintain accurate reports and spreadsheets using Excel to support HR operations

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience in HR Operations or HR Processing, particularly separation processing
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including formulas and report generation
  • Experience with Workday and ServiceNow systems preferred
