Our client, a leader in the energy and utility sector, is seeking a Power Systems Software Engineer to join their team. As a Power Systems Software Engineer, you will be part of the engineering support team supporting grid management and energy market solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and excellent collaboration abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Enhance, evolve, and support high-availability electricity market and grid management software applications.
  • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot power systems application functionality.
  • Participate in software design, development, testing, implementation, and production support activities.
  • Create code fixes, model conversion tools, documentation, and user interface enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in Power Systems Analysis.
  • Experience with Power Systems Application Software Development and Implementation.
  • Knowledge of electricity markets, grid operations, or energy management systems.
  • Hands-on software development experience in Java, C++, or .NET.
