Lead Full Stack .NET Developer (Azure, Angular)
The Role: Experis is hiring a Lead Full Stack .NET Developer for a 12 month contract to hire engagement with our client, a Fortune 500 technology organization supporting a federal payments program. This role is fully remote within the US, with an option to work onsite in Omaha, NE for local candidates.
You will serve as the senior technical voice on a growing cloud engineering team building enterprise applications in Microsoft Azure. This is a hands on lead position with an architecture component. You will write code, own design decisions, and mentor the developers around you. Our client's team is expanding from roughly 15 to 20 engineers and you will be one of the people that team turns to.
What You Will Do: Build and deploy enterprise APIs, services, and web applications in Microsoft Azure using C#, ASP.NET, and Azure Functions Own the full stack, modern Angular on the front end and .NET on the back end Serve as technical lead within the scrum team, mentoring developers, growing skills across the group, and unblocking the people around you Lead design discussions with engineering groups and make architecture decisions for your topic areas Troubleshoot, tune, and optimize application performance and resiliency using Azure Monitor and Application Insights Translate requirements into structured user stories and technical documentation Own CI/CD workflows and help the team mature modern deployment practices
What You Need:
- 10+ years building enterprise applications, with recent hands on experience in all three of .NET/C#, Microsoft Azure, and Angular
- Hands on Azure Functions and Azure API development. Azure DevOps alone is not sufficient
- Expert level front end capability across JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and modern Angular. You should be teaching this, not learning it
- Demonstrated experience as a technical lead, mentoring developers, growing team capability, and leading design conversations. Formal direct reports are not required, but a documented history of mentoring is
- Git and Azure DevOps
- Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment
- US Citizen or Green Card required. W2 only
Preferred:
- Terraform exposure
- Azure Government Cloud
- Familiarity with FedRAMP, FISMA, or Zero Trust concepts
- Static analysis and code scanning tools such as Fortify and Sonatype
- Jenkins
- Payments or public sector technology background
