Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a Technology Demand & Capacity Manager to join their team. As Technology Demand & Capacity Manager, you will be part of the Cloud Operations Department supporting demand intake, capacity planning, and financial management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Cloud Demand Manager/ Technology Demand & Capacity Manager
Location: Chandler, AZ (Hybrid -3 days onsite per week)
Position type: 12+ months with high possibility of extension/Conversion
What's the Job?
- Manage end-to-end demand intake, evaluation, normalization, and prioritization for Internal Cloud Platform services.
- Produce accurate demand forecasts and align demand with platform capacity, funding models, and delivery constraints.
- Own the demand management process, including intake criteria, reporting cadence, and backlog maintenance.
- Analyze intake requests, model capacity impacts, and integrate demand data into planning and governance workflows.
- Collaborate with finance, governance, and platform teams to translate demand into actionable plans.
What's Needed?
- 4-5 years of experience managing demand intake, prioritization, or portfolio planning for shared technology services.
- Strong analytical skills with experience modeling capacity constraints, utilization, and delivery tradeoffs.
- Familiarity with cloud or infrastructure consumption patterns.
- Experience working with finance, governance, and platform teams to translate demand into plans.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
