Our client, a leader in enterprise technology solutions, is seeking a Senior AI modernization Engineer (NJ FL) to join their innovative team. As a Senior AI modernization Engineer (NJ FL), you will be part of the AI and Software Engineering department supporting modernization initiatives across diverse enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Design and develop AI-powered accelerators, agents, and automation frameworks to modernize legacy enterprise applications.
• Transform technologies such as .NET Frameworks, Mainframe, Datastage, and TIBCO into Java, containerized, and cloud-native architectures.
• Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions, fine-tune prompts, and optimize agent behaviors and tokens.
• Implement guardrails and evaluation frameworks to ensure AI system governance and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline software delivery and enhance system performance.

What's Needed?

• 7+ years of experience in modern programming languages such as Python or Java.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience building Generative AI or Agentic AI solutions, including LLMs, RAG, MCP, and AI orchestration frameworks.
• Proficiency with databases like DB2, SQL Server, and Oracle.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud-native development.
• Experience in modernizing legacy platforms such as .NET frameworks, TIBCO, and Mainframe (COBOL/CICS).
