Audio Visual Engineer

Our client is seeking an Audio Visual Engineer to join their team. As an Audio Visual Engineer, you will be part of the Workplace Technology team supporting collaboration and AV system deployment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Audio Visual Engineer

Location: Remote; some travel (Montvale,NJ; NYC; Dallas, TX)

What's the Job?

• Support and troubleshoot video conferencing environments, conference rooms, and collaboration platforms.
• Assist in testing, validation, and deployment of AV systems and collaboration hardware.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams during system upgrades and new installations.
• Develop and maintain documentation, build guides, and support runbooks for workplace technology solutions.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and user experience.

What's Needed?

• Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience in AV and collaboration technology support.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Webex, Microsoft Teams, and AV system integration.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in video conferencing and AV hardware environments.
• Knowledge of control processors, audio technologies, and collaboration hardware.
• Associate-level CCNA certification or equivalent Cisco networking knowledge is a plus.
