Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and medical device industry, is seeking a Buyer II to join their team. As a Buyer II, you will be part of the procurement department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, proactive problem-solving skills, and strong collaboration abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Title: Buyer II
Location: Plymouth, MN
Duration: 12 Month Assignment
Pay Range: $33/hr. - $37/hr.
Onsite 4 days in Plymouth – 1 day remote
Shift: 8AM - 4PM
What's the Job?
- Manage purchasing and procurement of direct materials, including raw materials, electronics, plastic tubing, and labels.
- Review pricing, lead times, and issue purchase orders using ERP systems such as SAP.
- Update and maintain master data in ERP, including lead times and quantities.
- Collaborate with suppliers to address invoice issues and maintain inventory levels.
- Participate in weekly status reviews and support cross-functional communication to ensure procurement goals are met.
What's Needed?
- 2-3+ years of direct materials purchasing experience, with familiarity in managing purchase orders and supplier relationships.
- ERP experience, specifically with SAP, is required.
- High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred, or extensive professional experience in procurement.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Ability to work independently once trained, demonstrating reliability and dependability.
