Senior SQL Server DBA

Our client, a leading organization in the energy sector, is seeking a SQL Server DBA to join their team. As a SQL Server DBA, you will be part of the IT Operations support team supporting database maintenance, monitoring, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Perform SQL Server maintenance, monitoring, and administration to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues promptly to minimize downtime
• Optimize database performance through tuning and configuration adjustments
• Support database upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement automation initiatives and operational support

What's Needed?

• Proven experience supporting large-scale SQL Server environments
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Relevant certifications in SQL Server administration (preferred)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Availability to provide support during U.S. Eastern Time business hours
