Senior Network Solutions Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Network Engineer to join their team. As a Network Engineer, you will be part of the Network Engineering department supporting the Connectivity Delivery Center. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Whippany, NJ

What's the Job?

• Design and implement mid to large-scale network solutions ensuring scalability and security
• Collaborate with project teams to develop detailed low-level network designs following engineering standards
• Manage end-to-end delivery of network infrastructure projects, ensuring timely completion
• Work with global teams to align network strategies with organizational goals
• Contribute to risk management, compliance, and audit processes related to network infrastructure

What's Needed?

• Proven experience in designing complex network solutions for large organizations
• Deep technical knowledge of data networks, firewalls, load balancers, and routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP)
• Hands-on experience with Cisco products such as Cisco ACI, Nexus, Firepower/ASA, and virtualization platforms like VMware and AWS
• Familiarity with Fortinet Fortigate, Fortimanager, Fortianalyzer, and Checkpoint firewalls
• Preferred certifications: Cisco CCIE/CCNP, FortiGate FCNSA, F5 CTS-LTM/GT
