Our client, a leader in the consumer products industry, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the research and development support team, contributing to quality assurance and product safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong observational skills, excellent communication, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Location: Maplewood, Minnesota (100% onsite)
Pay Range: $18 to $22
Duration: 12 month contract
What's the Job?
- Perform physical and mechanical analyses and tests to support research, development, or quality control processes.
- Prepare materials and organize testing setups for various product evaluations.
- Assist in laboratory experiments by testing and evaluating new materials and products based on research protocols.
- Conduct mechanical performance tests to ensure product quality and safety standards are met.
- Test or visually observe product samples from competitors and communicate test results effectively.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Ability to work full-time from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Experience with hands-on testing and laboratory procedures.
- Proficient hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Experience with Excel and Word for data recording and reporting.
