Our client, a leading organization in data center management and operations, is seeking a Datacenter Technician 1 to join their team. As a Datacenter Technician 1, you will be supporting the Data Center Operations team in managing and maintaining critical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to operational excellence, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
- Perform audits of data centers to ensure optimal uptime by monitoring power and cooling systems.
- Manage inventory of data center operational materials to support ongoing maintenance and deployment activities.
- Support space planning and infrastructure build-outs by maintaining accurate audits and documentation.
- Install, maintain, and repair hardware, including OS deployments and supporting data center infrastructure growth.
- Document asset information into Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
What's Needed?
- 1-3 years of experience working in a live production data center environment.
- Experience deploying infrastructure components such as PDU, network, storage, and servers.
- Knowledge of incident management and change management workflows.
- Familiarity with data center infrastructure management tools (DCIM).
- Academic background with a BS in Computer Science or a Technical IT certification.
