AVEVA Control Engineer

Our client, is seeking a Control Engineer to join their team. As a Control Engineer, you will be part of the engineering support team supporting industrial automation projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Richmond, VA

What's the Job?

• Perform system assessments and requirements analysis for AVEVA System Platform 2023R2SP1 implementation
• Install and configure AVEVA System Platform components including System Platform, Operations and Integration, InTouch, and Historian
• Develop and execute migration strategies from legacy systems (AVEVA System Platform 2014 R2) to newer versions
• Establish and maintain integration touchpoints with external OEM OPC providers
• Troubleshoot IO connectivity issues within the System Platform ecosystem

What's Needed?

• 6-10 years of hands-on experience with AVEVA/Wonderware technologies
• Deep expertise in AVEVA System Platform 2023R2SP1, migration strategies, and OEM system integration
• Strong technical skills in industrial software platforms and PLC integration
• Ability to work independently during critical system cutovers
• Experience supporting industrial automation environments and executing system cutovers within change management frameworks
