Our client, a leading organization in the Banking industry sector, is seeking a Data Quality Issue Management professional to join their team. As a Data Quality Issue Management specialist, you will be an integral part of the Data Governance department supporting data integrity and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, effective communication, and meticulous documentation abilities, which will enable you to succeed and grow within the organization.

Job Title: Data Quality Issue Management

Location: New York, NY

Pay Range: $60 - $65/hr. on W2

What's the Job?

  • Manage the resolution of data quality issues through investigation, remediation, and root cause analysis processes
  • Identify and categorize data quality issues to facilitate targeted solutions
  • Coordinate with data owners and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Maintain detailed logs and metrics to monitor issue resolution progress and effectiveness
  • Support data governance initiatives by promoting best practices and continuous improvement

  • Experience in data governance or data quality initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and database tools
  • Effective communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to coordinate across teams and manage multiple priorities
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
