Mainframe Performance Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a Mainframe Performance Engineer to join their team. As a Mainframe Performance Engineer, you will be part of the Performance Management department supporting enterprise z/OS environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Lead migrations from third-party mainframe performance monitoring products to company solutions.
• Assess customer environments and provide migration estimates and implementation plans.
• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot performance management solutions on z/OS.
• Create comprehensive migration documentation and collaborate with customers, project managers, and technical teams.
• Support technical consulting efforts to ensure smooth migration processes and optimal performance.

• Proven experience in mainframe performance management and migration projects.
• Strong understanding of z/OS environments and performance monitoring tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
• Experience working with enterprise clients and managing technical documentation.
