Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join their team. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be part of the Cybersecurity Risk Management department supporting risk assessment and platform enhancement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cybersecurity Analyst

Location: Abbott Park, IL. Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)

Duration: 12 Months contract with possible extension

Pay Range: $52/hr on w2

What's the Job?

  • Evaluate, assess, and monitor cybersecurity and third-party risk activities in line with organizational risk management objectives.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for risk management processes and technology solutions.
  • Develop detailed use cases, process flows, and functional requirements to support cybersecurity and GRC initiatives.
  • Coordinate and execute system testing activities, including UAT, defect tracking, and validation of solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between cybersecurity teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of platform enhancements and process improvements.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity risk analysis or a related field.
  • Experience supporting enterprise workflows and business process improvements, preferably with ServiceNow or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity risk management, third-party risk management, and GRC processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
