Our client, the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Risk Manager - US to join their team. As a Risk Manager - US, you will be part of the Risk Management Department supporting enterprise-wide initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Develop, implement, and manage the organization's commercial insurance and casualty risk programs across manufacturing operations.
  • Oversee casualty claims, partner with third-party administrators, insurance carriers, and legal counsel to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Conduct risk assessments of manufacturing plants, warehouses, and distribution centers to identify loss prevention opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Operations teams to support safety initiatives and reduce injury rates.
  • Manage relationships with brokers, carriers, and vendors to optimize insurance coverage and pricing strategies.

What's Needed?

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in risk management, insurance, or casualty management.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or supply chain environments.
  • Proven ability to manage large deductible, self-insured, or captive insurance programs.
  • Strong knowledge of casualty insurance principles, liability claims management, and manufacturing safety practices.
  • Relevant certifications such as ARM, CRM, CPCU, or equivalent are preferred.
