Our client, a government agency specializing in security and facility management, is seeking a Surveillance & Access Control Technician III to join their team. As a Surveillance & Access Control Technician III, you will be part of the Facilities Support Department supporting security and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical knowledge, confidence in problem-solving, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Provide documentation, project tracking, and management reporting for security systems.
  • Support surveillance, network, and server systems with extensive troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Assist in the design, planning, installation, and support of security and building automation systems.
  • Configure and monitor network devices, surveillance equipment, and related infrastructure across multiple locations.
  • Work independently on complex tasks, ensuring compliance with security protocols and documentation standards.

What's Needed?

  • At least 3 years of experience with Cisco networking (routers & switches).
  • 1 to 2 years of experience with web filtering technologies such as Palo Alto and Zscaler.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience with video surveillance systems, including network, server, and workstation support.
  • Knowledge of door controls and building automation is a plus.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid schedule, including on-site support at secure facilities and occasional travel.
