Our client is seeking a Network Technician to join their team. As a Network Technician you will be part of the IT and Systems Support Department supporting statewide security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical knowledge, confidence in problem-solving, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
- Support and maintain surveillance, network, and server systems across multiple locations.
- Document system configurations, updates, and project tracking for ongoing and future initiatives.
- Provide tactical and strategic input on systems planning and related projects.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco networking equipment such as routers and switches.
- Work independently to support facilities-based systems including door controls, building automation, and telecommunication systems.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with Cisco networking (routers & switches).
- 1 to 2 years' experience with web filtering technologies like Palo Alto and Zscaler.
- 1 to 2 years' experience with video surveillance systems (network/server/workstation).
- Willingness to work on-site in Madison, WI, or relocate within one hour of Madison prior to starting.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and independent work skills.
