IAM Analyst x3

Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking an IAM Analyst x3 to join their dynamic team. As an IAM Analyst x3, you will be part of the Technology Operations department supporting the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, adaptability, and a customer-focused mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: IAM Analyst x3

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina

What's the Job?

• Process and fulfill access requests through ticketing and workflow systems, including provisioning, modification, and de-provisioning, following documented IAM procedures.
• Support identity lifecycle management activities while maintaining defined service level commitments (SLAs).
• Review access requests to ensure required approvals, role alignment, and compliance with security policies and segregation-of-duties guidelines.
• Perform routine access certification, attestation, and remediation tasks as part of identity governance (IGA) processes.
• Assist with the operational support and execution of IAM and identity governance tools, including access certification and role management activities.

What's Needed?

• 1–3+ years of experience in Information Security, Technology Operations, or IAM-related roles, or equivalent work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• 2+ years of experience in identity and access management, including access provisioning, de-provisioning, or access review support.
• Hands-on experience with IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Okta, CyberArk, Ping, or Microsoft Entra ID.
• Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks like ISO, NIST, SOX, PCI, and their application to access controls.
• Ability to follow standardized procedures while recognizing when escalation is necessary.
