  • Market Pricing & Survey Management: Manage participation in industry compensation surveys (job matching, data submissions, validation). Benchmark positions, evaluate salary ranges, maintain pay structures, and monitor market trends across multi-state locations.

  • Annual Cycles & Financial Modeling: Lead annual merit reviews, bonus/incentive planning, and compensation modeling for new hires, promotions, and retention actions.

  • Data Integrity & Analytics: Perform audits on compensation data, conduct pay equity analyses, and build robust reports and executive dashboards.

  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to HR business partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Payroll, and senior leadership, maintaining discretion with confidential data.

Position Requirements (MUST-HAVES)

  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive, hands-on compensation experience in a complex, multi-state organization (experience in telecommunications, cable, technology, or service-based industries is highly preferred).

  • Survey & Benchmarking Expertise: Hands-on experience participating in major compensation surveys, job matching, market pricing, and designing/redesigning salary structures or job architectures.

  • Advanced Excel Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (analyzing large datasets, developing complex models, vlookups, pivot tables, and executive reporting).

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • Schedule & Onsite Commitment: Ability to work 5 days/week onsite in Chester, NY for the first 90 days, transitioning to 3 days/week onsite / hybrid thereafter.

  • Certifications (Bonus): Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or related certification is a plus.
