Junior GCP Developer / Data Engineer

Position Summary

We are seeking a Junior GCP Developer to support data migration initiatives and cloud-based data engineering projects within Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role will assist with ingesting data from multiple sources, transforming datasets, and loading data into BigQuery tables for analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support migration of data and applications to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Develop and maintain basic data pipelines to ingest data from multiple source systems.
• Assist with loading, validating, and maintaining data in BigQuery.
• Monitor data quality and troubleshoot data-related issues.
• Work with senior engineers to optimize data processing workflows.
• Document data flows, processes, and technical specifications.
• Participate in testing and deployment activities.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in data engineering, software development, or cloud technologies.
• Basic understanding of Google Cloud Platform services.
• Familiarity with BigQuery and relational databases.
• Experience with SQL and data transformation techniques.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
