Senior Quartz Developer

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Senior Quartz Developer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Quartz Developer, you will be an integral part of the Application Development department supporting the trading and risk management teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Pay Range:$68-73.68

What's the Job?

• Analyze and develop applications on the Quartz trading platform to support trading activities across various asset classes.
• Build and support remote risk management frameworks for the Global Funding/CIO desk.
• Develop analytics and pricing components essential for the FAS133 hedge accounting platform.
• Collaborate with multiple teams across the bank to design, develop, and enhance financial applications.
• Work with key Quartz components such as Sandra, Bob, and Hugs, and contribute to the Quartz remote risk framework and calculators.

What's Needed?

• Extensive experience with the Quartz trading platform and related components.
• Proficiency in Python programming and modern technologies such as API management, REST/API integration, Containers, and Microservices.
• Strong understanding of financial instruments including Bonds, Interest Rate Swaps, Repo, and FX products.
• Experience with Web UI frameworks like Angular and Spring, along with CI/CD tools.
• Prior capital markets experience and familiarity with design and architectural patterns.
