JavaScript / Typescript Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in cybersecurity and enterprise technology, is seeking a Specialty Software Engineer 3 - Contingent to join their team. As a Specialty Software Engineer 3 - Contingent, you will be part of the cybersecurity development department supporting innovative solutions that enhance security across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical leadership, collaborative spirit, and a passion for developing secure and scalable software, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:Specialty Software Engineer 3 - Contingent

Location:Charlotte, NC

Schedule: 3x on site per week 

Pay Range: $60-63/hr W2 
*We can not work C2C/3rd parties

Type: Long term Contract 

Duration: 12 months, high likelihood of extension

What's the Job?

• Lead the architectural design and development of advanced cybersecurity applications.
• Develop high-quality software using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js frameworks.
• Integrate secure coding practices and collaborate with cybersecurity teams to mitigate risks effectively.
• Design and develop APIs and data integrations utilizing GraphQL, MongoDB, and SQL databases.
• Support CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins, and deploy solutions on Kubernetes environments.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Software Engineering or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, or education.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and related frameworks such as Node.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Experience with database management systems including MongoDB, SQL, and GraphQL.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins), and packaging tools like npm or Yarn.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively across cybersecurity, architecture, and engineering teams.
