Our client, a leading organization in healthcare manufacturing, is seeking a Packaging Engineer to join their team. You will be part of the Packaging Engineering Department supporting project labelling/packaging redesigns and process automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, self-motivation, and a strong willingness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Packaging Engineer I
Location: Monrovia, CA (100% onsite)
Pay Range:$27-30/hr W2
Contract: 12 Month, potential extension
What's the Job?
- Support the packaging redesign, revamp, and rebranding transition
- Engage in hands-on packaging engineering, labeling, and document control activities.
- Manage vendor relationships and collaborate with outside suppliers to ensure project success.
- Track project milestones, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Perform proofreading and quality control to guarantee accurate labels and documentation.
What's Needed?
- Engineering degree preferred, ideally in Packaging Engineering or a related discipline.
- 1–2 years of experience in packaging design, labeling, or document control; entry-level candidates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply.
- Technical skills in Packaging Design, Labeling, Document Control, and basic programming (Python or scripting) for automation support.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong proofreading and quality assurance abilities.
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills.
