Our client, a leader in medical device innovation, is seeking a Clinical R&D Engineer to join their team. As a Clinical R&D Engineer, you will be part of the Research & Development department supporting clinical evaluation and product development initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, collaborative spirit, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:Clinical R&D Engineer

Location:Remote, near LA, CA or St Paul, MN

Pay Range: 80-95/hr

What's the Job?

  • Investigate and define clinical requirements for new product and feature development.
  • Facilitate the translation of clinical insights into new projects through review and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with field and medical personnel to establish benchmarks for clinical performance evaluation.
  • Simulate or test aspects of new projects to evaluate prototypes and validate output against customer needs.
  • Develop and oversee preclinical evaluation protocols, data analysis, and reporting processes.

What's Needed?

  • BS Degree in biomedical, mechanical, electrical, biological, or physical sciences.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in medical product development or an equivalent combination of education and project experience.
  • Knowledge of structural heart procedures, TAVR, TMVR, and cardiac imaging workflows, TTVR, Cardiac CT planning, LVOT assessment, cardiac imaging workflows
  • Ability to apply clinical understanding to resolve project issues effectively.
  • Experience working across disciplines including Clinical Affairs, Engineering, Marketing, and Regulatory Affairs.
